5 THINGS I’M ASKING MY CHILDREN

5 THINGS I’M ASKING MY CHILDREN

5 THINGS I’M ASKING MY CHILDREN

These aren’t the only things I’m asking my children, but they are a few things that I find myself asking them more often these days:

(1) Do you know your my boy? My champion? My warrior?  (Identity is massive and I speak it often over all my kids)

(2) Help me to understand why you did __________ to your brother / sister? (I’ve a core value of always seeking to understand not be understood)

(3) Did you have any dreams? Tell me about them. (I want to hear if God is saying anything to my children and I want them to grow a value being open to hearing God while they are sleeping)

(4) What are you reading in the Bible these days? Ideally our older children start each day by reading it (this question is probably only asked weekly as I don’t want to put pressure on them)

(5) What’s your rose & what’s your thorn today? (a highlight & something that was challenging or hard, usually happens around the dinner table)
