LIVING A LIFE OF FAITH

LIVING A LIFE OF FAITH

Living a Life of Faith and Trust I believe Rick Joyner stated it best when he said, “The greatest gift you have been given is the Father’s love. As long as you walk in the Father’s love, you will never fail.” If we don’t truly know God loves us, when trials or difficult circumstances come, our understanding of who God is and who we are will sink like sand. That is why the basic foundation of our lives must be that God is good and that He loves us ALWAYS (Romans 8:37-39, Romans 5:8, and John 3:16). It is from this place of knowing His love for us that we can love Him and abide in Him. Trust is the result of a relationship in which we know we are loved. When we know that God is truly good, we can trust Him even when we do not understand what He is doing or telling us. Furthermore, from this place of knowing who we are in Christ, we are able to fulfill the purposes and callings God has over our lives. We love Him because he first loved us (1 John 4:19). Mr. Joyner says, “Our purpose in life is to see Him, know Him, love Him, become like Him, and to reveal Him. If we do this we will fulfill the greatest purpose one can have on earth and be the most successful human beings to walk the earth.” This past year was one of the hardest, yet sweetest years for me in my walk with God. It was a year of full dependency in knowing my father’s voice...
